New Mile Tours – Refund & Cancellation Policy

A. Tour Packages

Booking & Payment Terms
For all tour package bookings, a partial advance payment is required to confirm the reservation. The balance can be paid either prior to departure or upon arrival in India but strictly before the commencement of services. The advance amount will vary depending on the nature of services and the proximity to travel dates. Full payment is mandatory in case of peak season bookings (e.g., Pushkar Fair, Christmas, New Year, or Special Train Journeys).

Accepted Payment Modes
International payments can be made via Bank Transfer.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation must be communicated in writing. Charges are applicable from the date the written notice is received:

  • Up to 60 days prior to arrival – No cancellation fee

  • 59 to 45 days prior to arrival – 10% of total package cost

  • 44 to 31 days prior to arrival – 35% of total package cost

  • 30 days or less before arrival – 100% of total package cost

A minimum 10% service charge is applicable even if cancellation is made before 60 days.

Post-Commencement Cancellation
Refunds after the trip has begun are limited to recoverable amounts from hotels and service providers. We will make our best efforts to secure refunds for any unused services and inform the client accordingly.

Refunds for Unutilized Services
Refunds for any prepaid and cancelled services will follow the above policy and be processed in the name of the individual who made the payment.

Liability & Limitations
New Mile Tours acts solely as a booking agent and is not liable for delays, damages, accidents, or any loss arising due to natural calamities, mechanical failures, political disturbances, or acts beyond our control. Travelers are advised to obtain their own travel insurance. All baggage and personal belongings remain the client’s responsibility.

Check-in/Check-out Policy

  • Check-in: 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

  • Check-out: 12:00 PM
    Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability and additional charges.

B. Car Rental & Transport Services

  • Time and kilometers are calculated garage-to-garage.

  • Services beyond 4 hours are billed under the 80 km / 8 hours slab.

  • Toll, parking, and state taxes are included unless otherwise mentioned.

  • 5% GST is applicable on all bookings.

  • Once the vehicle leaves the garage, full charges apply even if the vehicle isn’t used.

  • If a vehicle breakdown occurs, New Mile Tours will send a replacement as soon as possible. If clients arrange their own vehicle, charges will be applied up to the point of breakdown.

  • In case of AC failure, AC charges apply up to that point, and compensation will not exceed 15% of the running charge thereafter.

  • All payments must be cleared within 30 days of invoice. Delayed payments attract penalties.

  • Complaints must be raised during the trip for resolution. Post-service complaints will not be entertained.

  • For safety, drivers are allowed short rests after continuous driving (15 minutes after 2 hours and 15–30 minutes after 4 hours).

  • Consumption of food or drinks, including alcohol and coffee/tea, is prohibited while the vehicle is moving.

  • Any damage to the vehicle caused by passengers must be compensated by them.

Cancellation Policy

  • 30+ days before departure: 10% of total fare or 1-day charge (whichever is higher)

  • 29 to 15 days before departure: 25% of total fare or 1-day charge

  • 14 to 2 days before departure: 50% of total fare or 1-day charge

  • Less than 48 hours or no-show: 100% of total fare

  • Prices are subject to revision based on fuel price changes or state taxes.

  • New Mile Tours holds no responsibility for delays due to natural disasters or mechanical failure.

  • Jurisdiction for any disputes will lie exclusively in Delhi.
